Lighting part 2:
We began the lesson in our groups from the previous lesson and we sat down and discussed different techniques we could use during our lighting presentations over the song 'bring in the sunshine'. The ideas we had come up with were:
Yellow moving lights
Flash
Silver/Gold light
Make the light spin
Sunshine Gobo
Search up time signature which is 44 130 BPM
Spotlight moving in circular motion without any jerking
Glitter on the floor (Possibly in the shape of a sun)
Strobe lights
Mexican Wave
One by one, in each of our groups we went up to talk to a gentlemen called Jack who showed how the whole lighting system worked. He also showed us positioning of lights for example led Parcans and other moving lights. @level of light 4 is one example of a setting we could use to turn a light on to a certain brightness. After he had shown everyone the whole light system we then went downstairs and watched him perform a light show for us using the Michael Jackson- Billy Jean song. I found it interesting and I got some inspiration off of it. In my opinion I do feel as though I am very ready to perform my piece in three weeks, and after today I have more creative ways as to how I will perform it.
