Today in Technical Theatre, my group and I worked together using Adobe Premier Pro to use the videos that we had made weeks before and put it together with the audio from Mardy Bum- Arctic Monkeys to create our music videos. Initially as nobody had prior experience with this application we were all confused but after a while we got the hang of it and steadily progressed. A music student had collaborated with the others in our group to sort out the audio and make cuts in it. The process was fun as we got used to the application and adapted and we made audio clips fade into others to connect them which was very successful. Once we had cut the audio and connected snip-its from it we started doing visual editing together and whilst doing that we were giving each other pointers and guidance as to what clips we should edit in. It felt like the universe was in our favor as when we put certain visuals in it actually was synchronized with the audio in that whatever was sung was lip synced. The whole process has been generally doing well and we cut every time something in the song being said changed. We are hoping that over the week we will further edit our video and finish it off.
