I am very interested in the improvisations in our acting course as they allow us to freely create and design our own sets and our own imaginary world at which everything is in our own control. I enjoy the aspect of flexibility and being your own boss in acting. It is equally as much fun to work with others to create an improvisation as not only are you pulling our creative ideas from the infinite void of chaos, but they aid you in doing to creative twice the amount of creativity in a small 3 minute piece. What I also find fun about doing an improvisation is that it allows you to channel those thoughts in your mind which would otherwise float around without any stimulus to spawn my ideas into reality. The whole process is also fun which can end in a few laughs and create a bond between the several people doing the piece, and showing it off in the end is alright but its all about the journey rather than the final destination.
